Arc Flash Hazard Awareness Training
WHY IS ARC FLASH AWARENESS TRAINING IMPORTANT?
Employers and facility managers are tasked with the heavy responsibility of providing employees with a safe working environment. In response to the severe, often devastating consequences of electrical accidents, the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) has revised NFPA 70E: Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace and has vastly increased its requirements placed on owners and employers.
Our programs are designed by our staffed NFPA Certified Electrical Safety Compliance Professional (CESCP) and follow NFPA 70 E Article 110.
ARC FLASH HAZARD AWARENESS TRAINING OBJECTIVES:
Provide a level of understanding to “Qualified” and “Unqualified Persons” whose job responsibilities expose them to an electrical hazard when the risk associated with that hazard is not reduced to a safe level by applicable electrical installation requirements. We recommend this training for those whose work environment has electrical energy, such as machine operators, maintenance personnel, supervisors, and other levels of management.
